We offer coverage solutions for GSM-R and public safety systems such as TETRA, based on established off-the shelf products. For other frequency areas we can offer almost any combination of customer specific repeater system, designed and built to fit the most detailed requirements. We also offer multioperator OnBoard solutions for any combination of frequency bands; GSM-R, GSM900, GSM 1800 and UMTS.
The EU ambition to roll out ERTMS, the European Rail Traffic Management System, with uniform and unique signalling standards throughout Europe puts new higher requirements on the GSM-R systems. These include continuous and redundant coverage along all railway tracks including coverage in rail tunnels. This is at the very core of the Axell Wireless competence area, and we can support it with a complete, dedicated GSM-R product portfolio.
