Axell Wireless is a company with an exceptional position in the coverage industry.
We were formed in 2007 when Aerial Facilities Ltd merged with Avitec AB. With the combined expertise and capabilities of these two companies, now unified and offering a truly impressive range of products and services, customers can look forward to a future that builds on our history and reputation for excellence.
Aerial Facilities Ltd was formed in 1972 in the UK by Gerald David OBE and a team of engineers who were dedicated to solving engineering and interference problems. At the time there were increasing difficulties in operating an interference-free service from heavily developed radio sites.
Avitec was founded in 1984 in Sweden by the present CTO, Håkan Samuelsson. Its first contract was with the Swedish Police Force, providing coverage for the Stockholm metro for which it still provides solutions today.
In the past 30 years both AFL/Avitec have designed and implemented some of the world's most demanding coverage projects across the four corners of the globe. Our track record in providing solutions across the whole radio spectrum and for all types of environments is unrivalled.
